People keep asking mommy what I'm going to be for Halloween. Quite frankly, mommy hasn't thought about it very much. I know, I keep telling her this a key decision in my life. I have explained to her countless times that I am a show man, and I have fans who are counting on me. Counting on me to set the bar of cuteness. Something for others to strive for. Admittedly, it is approximately 400 degrees here. And so the thought of getting into a hot, long sleeve, outfit, isn't necessarily appealing. But, I know how important it is to you, my people, to see me in a costume. So, in honor of the start of October, here is costume proposition number 1, The Monkey. Let me know what you think.

This outfit was given to me by my Uncle Al, not long after I was born. It seems he knew exactly what he was doing, because it fits me, just in time for Halloween. This outfit is H-O-T, and I mean that literally. Clearly Halloween costumes were designed for kids who live in the Arctic, not Louisiana. It was a little cooler this morning, like in the high 60s, so Mommy thought we'd give it a try. But, by the time I got out of it, I was sweating.
In any case, I was a good sport about it, as I am with most things. I enjoyed playing with my new toes:

And being a stereotypical monkey with a banana.

I do love bananas.
So, that is costume number one. Over the next couple of weeks, I'll be trying out some others. Let me know what you think.
