What's everyone complaining about???

I don't understand what all the kids are complaining about. School is the most awesome place ever!
Today I started Mother's Day Out, and I had a blast. Mommy and Daddy were acting like this was the event of my lifetime, building it up for weeks, talking about all the fun I was going to have. I'm not sure if they were trying to convince me, or themselves. They tried to make me pose for this picture this morning, but I was more interested in trying to get out of the door.

When we drove to school, those two kept going on and on about how much fun I was going to have, and all the kids I was going to meet and play with, and the playground, and this and that, blah de blah blah blah. I knew all that, I just wanted to hurry up and get there already. When we pulled up, I saw the playground and said "OH WOW!" They brought me inside, and there were kids everywhere! Quite a few were crying too. I walked right into my classroom, and went right to work playing with the kitchenette, and dump wagon. Mommy came over and gave me a kiss bye bye, but I just waved her away. Daddy left too, but I spotted him coming back and peeking in the door a couple of times. I think those two were having more withdrawal than I was.

At 2, mommy came to pick me up. This is what I looked like when she walked up to the door:
Not a tear stain on my face. When she asked if I had a good time, I went over to the piano and played a little diddy for her, just so she could see how much fun I had.

All the other kids were begging mommy to take them at the door, but when she asked if I was ready to go, I told her no. Ms. Crystal, my teacher, thought that was hilarious.
Mommy finally got me out of there, and brought me to the office. I went to see Paw Paw to tell him about my day, show him my fancy backback, and enjoy the cupcake mommy gave me as a reward for being a big boy.
Does it surprise you that I had two?
In any case, it was a good day. Mommy says I get to go back on Thursday, and I can't wait. I haven't taken my back pack off since I got back!
