Weekend Events

HIYA HIYA HIYA HIYA HIYA HIYA. . . . .

How. Me Chief Toots A Lot, here with my trusty steed, Chases Own Tail. Come. Join me on the ground and enjoy a hit off the peace noonie.

Ha! Fooled ya. It's just me, Thomas. I'm not really an Indian. But if I were, I'd be a friendly one. Sort of like Daniel Day Lewis in Last of the Mohicans, but with better abs, of course. Anyway, you may recall in my last post I commented on needing a headdress since I had my war call down pat. Well, Uncle Al went out an ordered one for me, and it was delivered on Saturday! It's interesting, because prior to this, I'd never considered using the blog as a means for getting gifts. This could become quite the interesting tool. Pay close attention, (BMW) because there could be hidden hints (7-Series) as to possible gifts.
Aside from receiving my fancy new headdress, the weekend was quite relaxing. On Saturday I worked some on my crawling. Mommy and Daddy put me on the floor on my tummy, and stick toys out of my reach to try to make me crawl or scoot towards them.

Here I am trying to get to my new Moose that Daddy gave me. It's actually a rather cruel game that they play. In fact, I'm so disgusted by it, I absolutely refuse to participate. That will show them. They can carry me forever, I'm perfectly fine with that.

On Sunday, I went to my very first Birthday Party. It was for my new friend Dexter, who turned 2. Dexter's daddy and my daddy are friends from high school, back when dinosaurs roamed the earth. Dexter has the right idea about these parties. Look at this cake he got!
It's huge! And, it has a Tyrannosaurus Rex on it, which is really cool, and probably reminds Daddy of a pet he once had when he was a little boy.

There were lots of people at the party, but there was only one person I was interested in, and that was Magnolia. Magnolia's daddy and my Mommy went to high school together, right around the time of Prohibition (mommy's younger than daddy). She is quite the cutie, that Magnolia. At first we both attempted to be aloof.
But then she made the first move. . .
And it was all over after that. . . .
Sigh. She's so pretty. I hope we see each other again soon!

All in all, it was a great weekend. I hope you all had nice ones too!
Thomas.
