Hi Ho, Hi Ho, It's Off to Work We Go!

Hellooooo workers of the world! Mommy had to go back to work last week, and I went with her. Abuela is going to keep me eventually, but right now, she's our secretary, so we're all one big happy family at the office. There's mommy, Abuela, Gramps, and of course, me. It seems to stress mommy out a little bit, but I enjoy it because I get attention from lots of people. Just across the hall is Pawpaw, mommy's grandpa, and he comes over periodically to check on me too. Of course, it's usually when I'm making a lot of noise, but that's just because practicing law can be very frustrating sometimes. I find screaming relieves a lot of the tension. I keep trying to get mommy to give it a try, and a couple of times I've almost reduced her to tears in the office, but she's never fully let one go. Maybe this week!

Anyway, I've been very busy. First I need a morning nap, and I petition mommy to be the one to rock me to sleep. She's tried to pass me off to Abuela for this job, but I routinely object. Judge Gramps generally sustains my objections, mostly, I believe, so that the peace can be kept in the office. I'll nap for maybe 30 minutes, at which time Mommy attempts to return phone calls and type up pleadings, but just as she really gets going, I'll do a surprise "Production of Documents" we'll call it, in my pants, and mommy is forced to sort through that. By then it's lunch time, and we eat. Last Thursday, mommy and I did lunch with Aunt Catherine. I mostly slept, but there were a couple of comments from some pretty ladies about how beautiful I was. I'm thinking of calling them as star witnesses when mommy tries me for being unruly. The afternoon requires another nap, and some entertainment, but I do manage to get a good bit of work done. Here is a picture of me in mommy's chair. The lamb is begging me not to sue her, but if there's one thing this last week has taught me, it's that I can't show any mercy. I may be fat, but I'm no softie.
Later in the afternoon I'll go sit on my secretary's lap for some cuddling and kissing. I'm told that this is generally not acceptable behavior in the work world, but given that Abuela is my secretary, I think I can get away with it.

Plus, look at this face. Could you resist me?

Well, I'm getting a little tense, so I'm going to let some screams out. I'll chat with ya'll later.
