Singing in the Rain, and other fun times

We woke up to rain this morning. Mommy put on her rain boots, and I was jealous. Thankfully Aunt Catherine bought some for me before I was even born. Even though they don't fit me yet, mommy put them on me. I think I look good with them on. Amos does too apparently.

Aside from fun rain gear, there's been lot of exciting things happening in my world. First, mommy got me this neat little contraption that hangs in the doorway and lets me bounce all over. It's fun, and it makes me laugh.
Plus, I look Sassy in it, don't you think?

Mommy also put together my exersaucer. Who knew that supporting my own head could open up such a world of excitement for me.
I'm not really clear on the point of this contraption, but standing in it is pretty fun. Mommy and Daddy keep pushing buttons and shaking things on it, trying to get my attention, but I'd much rather just stand there and smile at them. That's hours of fun for me.
I've also been working on rolling over from my tummy to my back. Here I am giving it a good try.
Even Amos is trying to teach me how to do it. I haven't quite mastered it yet, but I'm sure it won't be long now.
There's one last development that I'm not too thrilled about, and that's rice cereal. Mommy has decided it's time to get me started on this. Let's just say I'm not thrilled.
I don't understand the point of this plastic thing she keeps putting in my mouth. She calls it a spoon. I call it a gagging device. And this gritty stuff she sticks on my tongue??
YUCK!!!
But all my faces and protesting don't seem to deter mommy. She says we'll try a little bit every day until I get it. Somehow I don't think I'm going to win this battle. Which irritates me a little.
It's snack time, so thankfully I still get a bottle of the good stuff for that. I'll see you all later.
